APSC Student Recipient of GSA Remote Conference Award
William & Mary’s Graduate Student Association (GSA) is a student-led organization that brings together graduate students from the various academic departments and graduate programs of the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences. Through a collaborative effort, the Office of Graduate Studies and Research and the GSA provide a limited number of awards to assist selected Arts & Sciences graduate students who are attending or presenting at a research conference. The goal of the Conference Funding program is to supplement other funding sources and to help offset the expenses that graduate students accrue advancing their scholarship and knowledge.
Applied Science Ph.D. candidate, Prajkta Kallurkar is the recipient of a GSA Remote Conference Award. After a blind review of her application, the GSA Conference Award Committee voted to award her $125 toward the registration fee for Experimental Biology 2021, happening later this month.
Congratulations, Prajkta and best of luck at the conference!
