Professor Parman Wins Best Article Award
At the annual Economic History meeting, John Parman and his co-author Trevon Logan’s article “The National Rise in Residential Segregation" was awarded the Cole prize for best article in the Journal of Economic History. This is John’s third award for best article — he won the Neal prize for best article in Explorations of Economic History last year and again in 2013.
The W&M economics department has won four best economic history article awards over the last five years, winning both the Neal and the Cole prizes last year. In the last five years, no other department has received more than one award!
