Dr. Jon Allen and Aurora Kerscher featured on Animal Planet
Biology faculty member Jon Allen made the news in 2013 because he found a rare parasite in his mouth! This harrowing tale has been dramatized and televised recently on the Animal Planet's "Monsters Inside Me" program. Dr. Allen is shown in the video, with appearances by his wife Margaret, and Oli Kerscher's wife, Dr. Aurora Kerscher, of the Eastern Virginia Medical School.
