Spectral Imagery Scientist, Manuela Rayner, Gives Talk

An informal talk will be given April 29th in the CGA (located on the second floor of Swem) from 545 to 645pm. All are welcome.

A brief word on Manuela:

Manuela Rayner is a Spectral Imagery Scientist at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), headquartered in Springfield, VA.  Ms Rayner specializes in environmental applications of remotely sensed data, including both civilian and commercial imagery.  Ms Rayner has been employed at the federal level for the past year and has been working as a GIS/RS professional for the past 9 years.  Previous to her employment at NGA, Ms Rayner worked as a Geospatial and Remote Sensing Specialist for two environmental non-profits, Conservation International (CI) and World Resources Institute (WRI), on the NASA/USAID program - SERVIR and at FEMA Headquarters in Washington, DC.  Ms Rayner has a MA in GIS for Environment and Development (GISDE) from Clark University, a BA in Geography (GIS) from James Madison University and served in the Peace Corps in El Salvador from 2001-2003.
