Professor John Charles, Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences, the 2012 Distinguished Scholar of the National Association of Kinesiology in Higher Education, recently delivered a keynote address at the annual conference in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The title of the Thirty-Second Annual Dudley Allen Sargent Lecture was "Values in Action". The presentation, which will be published in a forthcoming edition of Quest, focused upon the infusion of a values-added curricular model into higher education that would have implications for personal growth and applications in professional practice.
