Department to host the 2016 CAMWS annual meeting
Our Department is very excited to announce that it will host the 112th annual meeting of the Classical Association of the Middle West and South (CAMWS), March 16-19 2016, at the Colonial Williamsburg Resort and the William & Mary campus.
The Classical Association of the Middle West and South is the largest regional professional organization for classicists and non-classicists at all levels of instruction in the US. It promotes the Classics through the broad scope of its annual meeting, through the publication of both original research and pedagogical contributions in The Classical Journal and in The Teaching of Classical Languages, and through its awards, scholarships, and outreach initiatives. Its membership extends over 32 states and 3 Canadian provinces.
