October 25, 2011
Once again this year's Homecoming had delightful weather, and while our football team lost to Towson State, many warm reunions were made with friends and faculty.
Biology alumni, friends and family participated in Homecoming on Friday afternoon by enjoying Millington Greenhouse for a wine and cheese reception joined by several biology faculty, emeritus faculty, and current students. After the reception, many alumni stayed to attend a seminar given by fellow alum Alissa Armstrong '04, currently at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, entitled "Making Connections: How Neurons Establish Links with their Target Organs". If you are interested in giving a seminar as part of our Seminar Series, please let us know by e-mailing faculty member [[opkers,Oliver Kerscher]].
