Rich Media in the Classroom (Podcast)
April Lawrence, William & Mary's Academic Technologist for the School of Education, met with Arthur Knight, Anne Charity-Hudley, and Sharon Zuber to dicuss how they integrate sound and images into English, Film Studies, and Lingustic courses. They considered how the advent of websites like Flickr and YouTube allow for easy and efficient access to media, how shifts in technology permit students to contribute examples of texts and media to their courses, and how using rich media in the classroom might lead to more student-centered teaching.
The podcast and April Lawrence's post are available on the Academic Technology blog.
