W&M Hispanic Studies Students Nominated for Film Award
Students of Ethical Fashion, a freshman seminar in Hispanic Studies and the Sharpe Community Scholars program recently found out that their educational outreach project has been selected for a national competition sponsored by TransFair USA. The group whose video receives the most votes (or "Like"s) on Facebook between November 12 and 19 will win a free trip to a fair trade apparel factory in Latin America (most likely Nicaragua, Costa Rica, or Peru).
