Kveta Benes to be Clark G. and Elizabeth H. Diamond Associate Professor of History

At the September 2011 meeting of the Board of Visitors, Provost Michael Halleran will recommend to the Board of Visitors that Kveta (Tuska) Benes be designated Clark G. and Elizabeth H. Diamond Associate Professor of History. Professor Benes specializes in the fields of modern German history and modern European intellectual history. She is the author of In Babel's Shadow: Language, Philology, and Nation in Ninetgeenth-Century Germany.
