Best Paper Award at the IEEE ICNP 2010 Conference
Faculty member Gang Zhou, in collaboration with Jun Huang, Guoliang Xing, and Ruogu Zhou from Michigan State University, were awarded the Best Paper Award for their paper titled "Beyond Co-existence: Exploiting WiFi White Space for ZigBee Performance Assurance" at the 18th IEEE International Conference on Network Protocols (ICNP 2010). ICNP is a premier, highly selective, single-track conference covering all aspects of computer network protocols, including design, analysis, specification, verification, implementation, and performance. This year, ICNP received 170 submissions and accepted only 31 papers (18% acceptance rate) for publication. The Best Paper Award was given to only one paper from among all the submissions.
