Faculty Awarded NSF Grant on Software Maintenance
Prof. Denys Poshyvanyk was awarded a research NSF grant (CCF-1016868), which is a collaborative project with Huzefa Kagdi, Winston-Salem State University. The grant will support a 3-year project titled as An Inductive Framework to Support Software Maintenance. The research will develop a novel one-stop solution for feature location, impact analysis and expert developer recommendation tasks by integrating and mining the latent information cluttered in structured and unstructured software artifacts produced and constantly changed during evolution of software systems.
