Students win summer fellowships
Irene Morrison-Moncure and Sam McVane have been awarded prestigious summer scholarships from to support research on their honors theses. Irene, who is working on
“Many Roads to Rome:
Investigating the Motivations of Latin Students in the 21st Century” under the direction of Lily Panoussi, was awarded a Charles Center Summer Scholarship, and Sam, who is working on "The Bare Necessities: Ancient Eastern Ascetics in Western Literature" under the direction of Bill Hutton, won a Dintersmith Fellowship.
