Rushforth Wins ACLS Fellowship
The American Council of Learned Societies has named Brett Rushforth as a recipient of an ACLS Collaborative Research Fellowship for 2011. The Fellowship will enable Brett Rushforth and his collaborator, Christopher Hodson of Brigham Young University, to work on their book Discovering Empire: France and the Atlantic World from the Age of Columbus to the Rise of Napoleon.
The ACLS received seventy eligible project applications, and chose only six of the seventy for funding.
