Zolotoi ples Folk Group at the College
The Russian and Post-Soviet Program welcomes the Belgium-based Russian folk group Zolotoi ples to the College on April 12, 2010.
The colorful ensemble offers a lively program of folk songs and instrumental music. Its members, Sergei Gratchev, Elena Sadina and Aleksandr Solovov (left to right) are all graduates of the Saratov Music Conservatory of Saratov, Russia.
Russian Folk Music Concert (Ewell Recital Hall, April 12, 7 pm.)
The
winners of a number of prestigious music competitions throughout
Europe, members of the Zolotoi Plios Folk Ensemble - Sergei Gratchev,
Elena Sadina, and Aleksandr Solovov - currently teach at the Royal
Carillon School in Mechelen, Belgium, and at Middlebury College,
Vermont.
The concert is free and open to the public!
