W&M Jazz Combo Provide Music for the Governor
William and Mary Jazz Combo members Seth Dalby and Michael Cammarata with faculty member Harris Simon performed for Governor McDonnell and the Virginia General Assembly on Monday the 1st of February, 2010 at an evening reception at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. The Governor came to view progress on the $150 expansion and renovation of the museum which is scheduled to open to the public on May 1st. Also present were fourteen Virginia artists who each received a 2010 Fellowship award of $8,000.
