Events this week (April 22 through 26)
Two end-of-semester events will be held by the Japanese Studies program.
A Karaoke Party will be held on Friday, April 26, between 6 PM and 8 PM in Washington Hall 305.
The Research Colloquium and J-Studies Award Ceremony will both be held in Washington Hall 315 on Friday, April 26, between 3 PM and 5 PM.
You can sign-up for the Karaoke Party, which also provide pizza.
The Research Colloquium will feature eight presentations by students who have done research in Japanese Studies as part of the capstone course "JAPN 450 Imagining Japanese Studies." The awards will include a prize for one student from each level of the language program and a "book" prize for a graduating senior who has demonstrated exceptional achievement in Japanese Studies.
