The Hispanic Studies department honors its majors.
The Hispanic department at William &Mary concluded the winter term with an unforgettable pizza party dedicated to honoring its majors and commemorating the exceptional achievements of two outstanding graduates, Meher Narielvala and Natalie Simpson, who completed their studies in December. The event, a vibrant culmination of the term's successes, brought together students and facultyin a festive atmosphere of celebration and camaraderie. Amidst the joyous gathering, the Hispanic studies department proudly bestowed the prestigious J. Worth Banner Award upon Sailor Miao, recognizing his outstanding contributions and commitment to excellence.
Additionally, the department celebrated academic prowess by awarding The Merritt Cox Scholarship to two deserving students, Katya V. Pedyash and Malvika Shrimali, in acknowledgment of their scholarly achievements. This gathering not only marked the conclusion of the winter term but also served as a platform to recognize the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of our students, creating lasting memories within the vibrant community of the Hispanic department at William & Mary. ¡Enhorabuena!
