Homecoming 2022
On October 8 German Studies welcomed a large number of students past and current to celebrate the many generations of people who have studied German at W&M. For the first time ever, we set up our traditional fall Grillfest at Hardy Hall, the new home of the German House. Alums young and old visited and interacted with our large cohort of students, visiting the German House floor and sharing stories about their time at the college. It was a beautiful fall day and the line for bratwurst (expertly prepared by Prof. Leventhal, our old Grillmeister who returned for the fest!) extended far into the field (we even had to run out and get more burgers ...).
