Kinesiology & Health Sciences Major, Sarah Todd '10, Receives Summer Research Fellowship from The American Physiological Society
Sarah Todd '10, working in the Vascular Physiology Laboratory, is one of 24 undergraduates nationwide to receive a 2009 summer research fellowship from The American Physiological Society. This is the fourth consecutive year that students working in the Kinesiology and Health Sciences department have received this competitive fellowship. Two other students from the Vascular Physiology Laboratory, Kristen Berberich '09 and Blair Ashley '08, and two students from the Molecular and Cardiovascular Physiology Laboratory, Kyle Horst '10 and Michelle Wolf '08, are all previous fellows. The fellowship supports both summer research and student attendance at the annual national conference Experimental Biology, where students present their research in both general scientific poster sessions and a dedicated undergraduate poster session.
