Homza Receives 2010 Plumeri Award
Professor LuAnn Homza has won a 2010 Plumeri Award for Faculty Excellence. Created by alumnus and former Board of Visitor member Joseph J. Plumeri ('66), the Plumeri Awards carry with them a cash prize of $10,000 to be spent on research opportunities and materials, professional development, or other expenses associated with research or teaching.
Professor Homza is the second faculty member in the Department of History to have received a Plumeri Award. Professor Kris Lane received a Plumeri Award in 2009.
