Bio

Amy Limoncelli received her PhD in History from Boston College in 2016. Her teaching and research fields include modern Britain, modern Europe, internationalism, and empire. Her first book, Britain and the International Civil Service: Empire, Internationalism, and Expertise in the Twentieth Century, was published in 2024 by Routledge. She has also published in an article, “Remaking the International Civil Service: The Legacies of British Internationalism in the United Nations Secretariat, 1945-7,” in Twentieth Century British History.
