Seven W&M students win awards in Women's Studies
Casey Sears won the 2010 Friends of Women's Studies Prize for Student Activism for his work on LGBT rights at W&M and in Virginia.
Teresa Ingraham and Laurel Daen won the 2010 Dean's Prizes for Student Scholarship on Women for their papers on Jeanette Winterson's book of short stories Art and Lies and nineeenth-century itinerant artist Martha Honeywell.
Kate Ainsworth, Jessica Gold, Kate Hibbs, and Virginia Jenkins won Carol Woody Real World Internship Awards to fund their field trip to the U.S./Mexico border during spring break.
