Government grad Will Smith ('14) putting his knowledge, skills, and passion to work in Liberia
Will Smith was an outstanding Government graduate of the Class of 2014 and star of the W&M men's soccer team. Inspired in the classroom by Government professor Phil Roessler, Will eventually studied under Roessler's supervison to complete an honors thesis on the impact of solar lights on the individual welfare and fishing productivity of Liberian fishermen. Now, less than five years later, Will has taken his knowledge of Africa, his skill at soccer, and his desire to help others to a new level.Watch his compelling story here
