Visiting Assistant Professor, Sean Burns has written an op-ed titled, "All the selfish reasons we need an anti-oil foreign policy. It's not just about climate" in USA Today arguing that for purely selfish reasons alone, the US should promote renewable energy. In addition, he details how the responsibility of fixing the climate does not fall onto one country, but others will follow and how renewable energy will kill fossil fuels soon.
