W&M Graduate Dalton Bennett on Pulitzer Prize-Winning Team
The Government Department is pleased to announce that Dalton Bennett, William & Mary Government ’09 graduate, is part of a Washington Post team that recently won the Pulitzer Prize for Investigative Reporting. The team was honored for its investigation into sexual harassment claims against a Senate candidate in Alabama.
Bennett, who received the Government Department’s Baxter-Ward Fellowship in 2014, started his journalism career working in Libya for the Associated Press. He credits William & Mary for challenging his prejudices while he was a student.
