Derek Vouri-Richard

Derek Vouri-Richard is a Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor of Film & Media Studies at the College of William & Mary. Derek researches non-theatrical film. Specifically, he researches sponsored and industrial film to explore connections between cinema, American business, labor, and race in the first half of the twentieth century. Derek's research has been funded by fellowships from the University of Illinois, the Hagley Museum and Library, and the College of William & Mary.
