The 2021 W&M Student Literary Awards
The W&M Student Literary Awards are an annual contest recognizing achievement in student writing, sponsored by the Creative Writing program and the Department of English. The awards are open to all William & Mary students. Independent judges decide winners and runners-up in each of five categories: Group of Poems, Short Fiction, Single Poem, Creative Nonfiction and Drama/Screenwriting. More information is available in the first video below.
Because the Creative Writing program cannot hold an in-person awards ceremony this year, we announced the winners in a live stream video on April 29 (password LITAWARDS). Our congratulations to all of this year’s winners and runners-up! And thank you to all the student writers who so kindly shared their work.
