Ann C. Shrieves Scholarship

The Ann C. Shrieves Scholarship was established through the generosity of the Shrieves family, to support an academically distinguished student in the English department. The scholarship is normally awarded to a student from Virginia.

In the fall semester of every year, the English Department Prizes Committee contacts selected eligible students and invites them to submit writing samples for consideration. The winner is announced by the end of the fall semester. Application is by invitation only.
