Biography
Lisa Anderson is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University (B.S., 1988 and M.A., 1989) and the University of Virginia (M.A., 1992 and Ph.D., 1994). Her research and teaching are in the areas of game theory and experimental economics. Her published articles include experimental investigations of information cascades, strategic voting, public goods provision and gender differences in generosity and risk aversion. In addition, she has published a number of papers on the pedagogical use of experiments. Her current research includes experimental studies in the areas of rent seeking, information biases, and risk taking. She also serves on the editorial boards of the Southern Economic Journal, the Journal of Socio-Economics and the B.E. Journal of Economic Analysis & Policy.
