Ph.D. alumna Ningfang Mi received prestigious Air Force Young Investigator Award
Ph.D. alumna Ningfang Mi (assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering at Northeastern University, Boston, MA) received prestigious Air Force Young Investigator Award.
The United States Air Force Office of Scientific Research announced in Spring 2014 that Dr. Ningfang Mi will be among the 42 nationwide awardees of this year's prestigious Air Force Young Investigator Research Program. Dr. Mi's research project, Creating An Integrated Management Layer To Administer Heterogeneous Resources in Dynamic Workflow Clusters, will receive grant backing from the $15.5 million program over three years. Dr. Mi joined Northeastern Electrical and Computer Engineering as an assistant professor in fall 2009 and teaches courses related to cutting-edge topics in computer engineering.
