New Books by W&M Classical Studies Faculty
Three members of the Department of Classical Studies at W&M have published books in 2015. Professor Swetnam-Burland published Egypt in Italy: Visions of Egypt in Roman Imperial Culture with Cambridge University Press. Professor Donahue has written Food and Drink in Antiquity: a Sourcebook, as part of the Bloomsbury Sources in Ancient History Series. Professor Irby and her co-author Mary English have published A New Latin Primer with Oxford University Press, complete with a workbook. Our students in Elementary Latin will be working with it this very semester, and many were thanked in the acknowledgments for testing the new approach. Congratulations!
