Background
Madison Ames earned her B.A. in Chemistry from Lewis & Clark College and her M.S. in Chemistry with an emphasis in industrial polymer science from the University of Oregon. Prior to joining William & Mary, Prof. Ames’s professional background included carbohydrate-based vaccine development at Pfizer, small molecule synthesis at Thermo Fisher Scientific, and specialty catalyst process management at W.R. Grace. Prof. Ames’s research interests include industrial applications of organic chemistry and process optimization for manufacturing. She teaches organic chemistry.
