Overview
The CGA is involved in a myriad of ongoing research projects across campus with faculty, staff, and students, and beyond. We specialize in geovisualization, spatial analysis, and remote sensing. Our tools are computational and may use drones, GNSS/GPS, and other field data collection. We participate in projects at different levels, from helping faculty/students with StoryMaps to leading and collaborating on published research. Please reach out if you would like to include mapping or spatial analysis in your research cga@wm.edu.
Additionally, students that are interested in taking GIS 480 and participating in research should also feel free to reach out or look here to learn more about how to register for the course.
