ACE (Applied Clinical Experience)
In a collaboration with VCU Health, 10-20 students per semester get 50 hours of clinical shadowing experience at VCU’s walkable-from-campus Henry Street Clinic, along with a weekly discussion and reflection class taught by W&M faculty. This course is offered every Fall and Spring, and can be repeated once, providing half of the 200 clinical hours necessary for viable medical school applications. This closely mentored experience offers a convenient and dynamic clinical setting for students who do not already have such access.
