Area of Specialization
Associate Research Scientist with the Center for Coastal Resources Management at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, uses ecological informatics to examine how humans impact the distribution of plants and animals along coastlines. His research ranges from counting bivalves in salt marshes to mapping septic system failure hot spots across the Commonwealth.Teaching
He is excited to be teaching BIOL 504/404 – Advanced Statistics this fall for students that are interested in spicing up their analytical skills with a little applied Bayesian stats.Background
