Background
I am the conservator of archaeological materials at The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, where I have worked since 2016. Prior to this, I was an objects conservator at the Brooklyn Museum in New York, and my third-year placement during my master's work occurred at the Museum of London. I also completed field work over three seasons in Greece and Turkey; it was Classical Archaeology that first caught my attention and encouraged me into the field of conservation. I am personally very interested in the conservation of glass, ceramics, and metals, and I enjoy any opportunity to visit my archaeology colleagues working in the field. I also have strong interest in Health and Safety and serve on the leadership team of the Health and Safety Network of the American Institute of Conservation.
