Why W&M?
The Murray program was extremely helpful in allowing me to register for the classes I wanted, and it enabled me to graduate early with less stress. The program provided opportunities to attend workshops, meet with guest speakers and foreign dignitaries, and many others that are not available to the student body at large. Also, it was great to have the extra level of academic advising from Prof. Cristol and others. And it goes without saying that the financial aid alone was a generous incentive!
Where am I now?
I earned an M.A. in history during my senior year as a Murray Scholar at W&M. I am currenlty in a Ph.D. history program at George Mason University. I am going to be supported by a digital history fellowship.
