Why W&M?
The combination of Murray opportunities and the accessibility of William & Mary professors has allowed me to pursue a variety of interests from public voting behavior to alternative transportation. The 1693 Scholar Program Director, Dr. Cristol, was my advisor on a senior research project which focused on the idea of a price premium in environmentally-friendly golf courses.
Where am I now?
I completed law school at UC-Davis and passed the bar in 2011. My current job is part of the Sargent Shriver Civil Counsel Act. This is a bill that passed the California legislature as a response to a legal trend, called Civil Gideon, that seeks to provide poor litigants with legal representation in civil as well as criminal matters.
