Favorite Spot

My favorite spot is the (former) Daily Grind! My freshman year, this hip spot was one of two functioning coffee shops! I would always sit in the window seat towards the right side of the building, continuously sipping on the Brown Sugar Cinnamon iced coffee. The Daily Grind was a place to study hard, people-watch or grab a necessary caffeine boost. The spot is immensely comfy with its fireplace and checkered floors, the moment you walk in it immediately feels like home. After a brief respite, I was overjoyed to find out that the spot was going to be reintroduced as a study space. The day it re-opened, I was there bright and early to sink into the iconic brown leather couch and catch a quick morning nap. The front and back porches have allowed me to blissfully enjoy the campus nature while chatting with friends or advisors. I have made so many friends, had so many iced coffees and taken so many naps in this beloved space, and I am so happy I get to keep it in my life until I graduate! We love you, Daily Grind!
