Favorite Spot

My favorite place on campus is the Botetourt Dock or Botedock! As a first-year, I lived in Fauquier Hall in the Botetourt Complex. My favorite place to spend time was the dock near the Keck Lab, commonly known as the Botedock. I love to spend time in the beautiful scenery of Lake Matoka while reading, studying, chatting with friends, or just soaking in nature. I love being so close to such beautiful scenery and try to take as much advantage of the space as I can. Additionally, as a Botetourt Orientation Aide, I became familiar with the tradition of BotOAs jumping into Lake Matoka from the Botedock. It's hard to discredit the space when you're soaking wet in a neon yellow t-shirt after a long day in the sun.
