Who am I?

I am a born and raised Virginian though, as a military spouse, I have had the opportunity to live up and down the East Coast. When it came time for my husband to retire, we knew we wanted to return to Williamsburg so we could be close to our family. I love everything about the local area, plus, the fact that I can drive just a couple of hours west to escape to the mountains!

Why Admission?

I did not have any experience working in higher education until I began working for William & Mary three years ago. During my first interview, I could feel the love, respect, and appreciation everyone had for one another and W&M. Now, I’m a part of that and I want to share it with our prospective students!

Why W&M?

Everyone asks me “what’s in the water?” because our students are just so excited to be here. And that excitement is contagious! Not only do I get to work with a great group of people, but I’m also on a beautiful campus filled with some of the most driven students I’ve ever interacted with. I don’t think it gets much better than that!

Fun Facts: 

1. I adore Doctor Who and my doctor will forever and always be Peter Capaldi.
2. I love singing karaoke. The first song I ever sang was Hotel California and I'm certain the crowd really appreciated the FULL 6.5 minutes of performance.
3. I am very skilled at spotting four-leaf clovers. Not sure how or why I've obtained this ability, but I like to think it helps me in other areas of my life, like picking out the important details when reviewing applications!
