Who Am I?
I am what our students affectionately refer to as a “townie”. I was born and raised right here in Williamsburg and grew up going to Tribe football and basketball games, watching the homecoming parade, and taking my Cheese Shop sandwich across the street to eat in the Sunken Garden. Despite my parents and older sister being William & Mary alums, I chose not to follow in their footsteps and took my talents to Clemson University (Go Tigers!) for college. I couldn’t stay away for long, however, and returned to W&M for grad school to finally fulfill the family prophecy. One Tribe One Family! Why Admission?
My career in Higher Education started in Student Affairs. While I enjoyed working with college students throughout their four years, I felt that my best fit would be supporting students before they got to college. I love having the opportunity to connect with so many different students, learn about their interests and passions, and ultimately help them find the right place to pursue their goals. Why W&M?
William & Mary is my school. I went to undergrad elsewhere, I lived in other college towns, and I’ve worked at other universities, but William & Mary never stopped being my school. There is something truly special about this place that draws people back in after they leave and makes them want to stay once they return. William & Mary means so much to me and I want to pass on that passion to every new member of the Tribe.Fun Facts:
- I won three intramural championships during grad school. A W&M intramural t-shirt is the most coveted trophy in sports.
- I did a 30-minute presentation on the Taco Bell menu in a job interview and got the job.
- I have been the Michelin Man. Twice.
