Courtyard

Summary

The Courtyard is located on the west front of the Sir Christopher Wren Building between the Piazza and the white picket fence. The Courtyard may be reserved by W&M departments, university-related foundations and recognized student organizations. 

Use Restrictions

The placement of tents must be approved by the Executive Director of Historic Campus. Tents must be anchored with water barrels; stakes and posts are not permitted.

A representative of the sponsoring organization must be identified on the reservation form and must be present during the entire event to serve as a liaison.

Event schedules will be set by the curricular and administrative needs of the university.

* Maximum capacity for hosting in-person events and gatherings on W&M's campus.

Inclement Weather Policy

Use of the Courtyard does not imply or guarantee that buildings on Historic Campus will serve as rain sites, restrooms, or other facilities needs.  Any use of indoor locations must be arranged separately and in addition to reserving the outdoor spaces.
