On March 2, 2021 we asked 260 registered staff users (out of a total population of 1,941):

As we approach one full year of primarily remote work for many employees, can you share one “win” from the experience?

We received 82 responses yielding 98 data points (32% response rate) which we analyzed and consolidated into nine categories:

  • Benefits of remote work/greater schedule flexibility: 21.4%
  • Learned new skills/technology: 15.3%
  • Work/life harmony: 15.3%
  • Increased productivity/efficiency: 14.3%
  • Maintaining continuity under unusual circumstances: 8.2%
  • Enhanced connection/collaboration/communication with colleagues: 7.1%
  • Broader reach with virtual programming: 6.1%
  • Positive impact on environment: 6.1%
  • Other: 6.1%
