Past Reflections
After nearly a decade as the 27th president of William & Mary, Taylor Reveley announced plans in spring 2017 to retire effective June 30, 2018. In anticipation of the April 7 retirement announcement, President Reveley wrote about his time as president, including his view on major accomplishments, challenges and future goals. In addition to the president's personal reflection, Jim Golden, who served as vice president for strategic initiatives from 2008 to 2014 and is currently senior counselor to the president, prepared a comprehensive strategic review of William & Mary's past decade.
