Stephen J. Huebner '76, P '09
Stephen J. Huebner received his B.A. in government from William & Mary and an M.A. in management from Central Michigan University. While at William & Mary Mr. Huebner was a student athlete and member of the ROTC program. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant upon graduating from William & Mary and went on to serve a combined 22 years of active and reserve time in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Huebner has over forty years of experience in healthcare management and supply chain operations. Following his active service commitment, Mr. Huebner worked at several major hospitals, including Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He retired from his position as Vice President for Materiel Operations at Bon Secours Health Systems, Inc. in 2018.
Mr. Huebner served on the boards of the William & Mary Athletic and Association of 1775 as well as the boards of both his 30th and 35th reunion gift committees. In appreciation of his experience as a member of the track and cross country teams, he has volunteered his time as a life skills coach for athletes on both teams throughout his retirement helping to prepare them for life after graduation and the job market. Mr. Huebner's wife, Diane Arnold Huebner, and daughter, Jennifer, are also graduates of William & Mary.
