BOV Virtual Meeting - August 3, 2020

In accordance with Va. Code § 2.2-3708.2, the William & Mary Board of Visitors met by electronic communication means on Monday, August 3, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Eastern Time to have a conversation with Christy Coleman, Executive Director of the Jamestown Yorktown Foundation, and to receive an update from the Principles of Naming and Renaming Working Group. The Board also intended to review changes to the Board Bylaws. The meeting was held in accordance with Item 4-0.01.g of the 2020 Appropriation Act, which provides governing boards with the ability to hold meetings electronically without a quorum present while the Commonwealth is under a State of Emergency.

Live audio and video streaming of open sessions were made available during the meeting.
