You may choose to purchase optional life insurance through Securian to supplement your group life insurance coverage.
You have four options from which to choose. You can be insured for up to eight times your annual salary, up to a maximum of $950,000. If you enroll in the optional coverage, you may also insure your spouse, your child(ren), or both.
If applying outside of your initial 31 day enrollment period, Evidence of Insurability and underwriting will be required. This involves a health questionnaire to be completed along with the enrollment form and possible additional testing determined by Securian Life Insurance Company.
