Fraternity & Sorority Living
To affirm and strengthen fraternity and sorority life as an important William & Mary tradition, we seek to create living environments that advance the highest and historic values of fraternities and sororities that members, alums, and the university as a whole will respect and appreciate.
While W&M Residence Life administers the chapter houses' room assignment process, our campus partners at W&M Fraternity & Sorority Life provide information on joining a chapter, support for pledges and members, and other important fraternity and sorority community resources.
Fraternity & Sorority Housing Room Selection
To request to live in an on-campus fraternity or sorority chapter house, contact the President of your fraternity or sorority to find out about the selection process. Once selected to participate, you will sign a housing contract and chat with your chapter about room placements. Once a contract is signed, the forthcoming room selection time block is null and void. House rosters and signed contracts for the academic year must be submitted by the deadline. If you sign a housing contract and decide not to live in fraternity or sorority Housing, you will still be obligated to live on campus per your housing contract.
